Not included: carpet shampooing and upholstery extraction, exterior window washing, wall painting or patching, and anything needing a ladder above standard reach. Those are separate trades and you will get a better result hiring a specialist.

How much does move out cleaning cost in Chicago?
Most move-out cleans run about $300 to $700 depending on the size of the home, the number of bathrooms, and the condition it is left in. A studio or one-bedroom apartment sits at the low end; a four-bedroom house with a finished basement sits at the top. You get a flat written quote before any work starts, so there is no meter running and no surprise add-ons.
Will this pass a landlord walkthrough or help with my security deposit?
That is what the clean is built for. We clean the unit empty, which is when cabinets, closets, and the space behind appliances are actually reachable, and we work to a fixed checklist rather than a general tidy. We cannot promise how an individual landlord will rule, but if something on the checklist was missed we come back and re-clean it.
Should the place be empty before you clean?
Empty is best and produces a noticeably better result for the same price. If movers are running late or a few boxes are still in the garage, tell us when you book and we will work around it. What we cannot do is clean around a fully furnished home and still call it a move-out clean.
Do you do move-in cleaning too?
Yes, and it is the same job in the other direction. Nobody knows what the last occupants did, so we reset the whole place before your furniture lands: inside cabinets and appliances, bathrooms sanitized, floors done throughout. Plenty of people book the move-out clean on the old place and the move-in clean on the new one in the same week.
How much notice do you need?
A week is comfortable. Closings and lease ends rarely give you a week, so we take short-notice move-out jobs when we have a crew free. Send your date and we will tell you straight away whether we can hit it.
Do you shampoo carpets or upholstery as part of this?
No. We are a house cleaning company, not a carpet or upholstery cleaning company. Carpets are vacuumed thoroughly as part of the clean, but hot-water extraction and shampooing are a separate trade and you will get a better result hiring a specialist for that.
